Playing with 35mm digital cameras is like a holiday everyday for me. That is because they are like playing with a toy since they are so easy to use and since no film is required to use them I can take pictures all day. They use a memory card but that is cool since they are reusable which is unlike film cameras.

Now, digital cameras did not just come out and they have been out for several years now but have you happen to notice that as old father time moves on the features get more and more unique on the cameras and the price keeps getting better as well.

So, go ahead get something to write on or use a word processor or some other program you can type in and lets get started. Go to a major etailers or retailers website and find the best 35mm digital cameras that are available on there site and cost is not a concern at this moment.

Now, that you’ve located them jot down the brands, makes, models and all of the major features of the cameras as well.

Do this for lets say 10 different ones and once you finish this step you need to make another list now. This list will be of the cameras from the exact same website that are the most cost effective.

You need to just find ten 35mm digital cameras that are affordable to your finances. So, if $200 is affordable then that is your definition. If $1,000 is what’s in your budget then that is what you use as a guideline. After the 10 affordable units are located you need to repeat the above steps as far as brand, model and the detailed features as well.

Now, once this task is completed you need to put a circle around any feature that you feel is important to you only on the first ten camera’s you listed. Now, put stars next to features of the 10 “affordable” ones that are similar or the same features of the more expensive ones.

The last step is an easy one – you count up all of the stars for the lower cost units and then the unit with highest number of stars is the clear winner and the unit you should buy.
